METAL PLATING
ELECTROPOLISH SERVICES
ELECTROPOLISH
Our electropolishing services polish, passivate and deburr metal parts giving them a smooth, clean surface. Electropolishing is an electrochemical process that removes material from a metallic part. It is often described as the reverse of electroplating.

Finish and Processing Options
Electropolishing
Northeast Metal Works electropolishing process can remove iron from the surface of stainless steel thereby protecting the surface from rust and corrosion while providing a superior form of passivation for stainless steel. Electropolishing provides a surface that is easier to sterilize, improves the surface finish by leveling micro-peaks and valleys and is able to polish areas that are inaccessible by other polishing methods. Northeast Metal Works uses a rack electropolishing line to provide maximum flexibility to accommodate your intricate part designs.
